Ep 17 - Learning From The Self-Consciousness of Six-Year-Olds
January 16, 2020
Six-year-olds don’t care about messing up, making mistakes, coloring outside the lines, or using the wrong colors because they don’t care what others think. It’s only as they grow older and experience rejection, embarrassment, and ridicule that they then learn self-doubt and self-criticism, which inevitably make one self-conscious. And while there’s a lot of good from growing up and growing older, we would all benefit from unlearning self-consciousness.
In today’s episode, I share how being more like a Kindergartener would do us all good when it comes to giving ourselves more love and less hate when we mess up and make mistakes in life.
